My speaking fees for virtual events in the 2021-2022 academic year are as follows.
The fee for a one-hour webinar (lecture + Q&A) starts at $1,500 for an audience of up to 50 people. You may make a recording of this event available until the end of the academic year.
The fee for a two-hour workshop (lecture + exercises and/or discussion + Q&A) starts at $2,500 for an audience of up to 50 people. You may make a recording of the teaching portions of this event available until the end of the academic year.
My speaking fee increases for larger audience sizes.
Several of the events work well together as a series, and I offer a discount for booking multiple events in a single academic year:
- Two events, 10% discount on both
- Three events, 20% discount on all
- Four or more events, 30% discount on all
The Graduate Student and Postdoc’s Guide to Personal Finance and Hack Your Budget have a separate fee structure; they each start at $2,000 for an audience of up to 50 people.
For a custom quote for your event, please email emily at PFforPhDs dot com or schedule a call.
P.S. If you were a new client in 2020-2021, you may wonder why my speaking fee has increased for the upcoming academic year. I discounted my speaking fee in 2020-2021 in response to the pandemic. My 2021-2022 speaking fee is in line with the value that I bring to the attendees and organizers of my events.
